The tiles on this page are either reclaimed 'hydraulic' floor tiles from Spain, or handmade ceramic tiles in some beautiful designs, exclusive to Casa Jarapa.

Hydraulic tiles are cast in a mold using a mixture of tinted cement and powdered marble. So, instead of a thin coat of paint or print, the colour is integral to the tile and up to 6mm thick. Our tiles are reclaimed from all over Spain and Portugal.

The ceramic tiles are handmade in Spain by gifted artists Matthew Weir and Isabel Soler.
